2012 Holiday Sessions

So, here I am again! I am so sorry that I have been gone for so long. It isn't that I haven't had anything to post, I have had too much! But, I am not complaining, believe me. I have been so busy since the start of the 2012 Holiday Session season that I just have not had time to get everything posted to the blog. So, I decided to create a slideshow of the 2012 Holiday Sessions so I could share some of the great images we captured throughout the season. If you find yourself in need of a 5-6 minute break, just watch this slideshow :) I have lots more work to post as well, but this is a start. I promise not to disappear for so long again without sharing images from all of the great sessions I have been working on. I hope everyone is having a great 2013 so far (now that its half way over...how did that happen?!!).

Van Turns 1

I had such a fun shoot with little Van and his mom and dad as he turned one! We chose some super colorful locations and wardrobe and it all worked out splendidly! Van has the biggest, bluest eyes and beautiful, creamy baby skin.  I had a seriously hard time narrowing down my favorites from this session to share! I have to say thank you to the beautiful K Family for being adventurous and working hard with me and baby Van to make your session a success.  I had such a great time with you guys! Julianne's Summer Session

You all might remember a tiny little girl named Julianne from last year when I posted her newborn session. She is actually in the blog header above :) She is still tiny, dainty and adorable, nearly one year later. The main purpose of this summer session was to capture Julianne with her grandparents. So, we started out with grandma and grandpa reading Julianne a book, which was a hit! From there we hopped around getting some fun candid shots of everyone enjoying this beautiful baby girl. Sophia Turns One!

Wow, so many of my tiny babies from last year turning 1 already! Baby Sophia just turned 1 and I had the honor of photographing her on her very big day! We did a pre-party session and I just let her do her thing :) She was a happy little girl that day! We got a bunch of great shots with lots of color. The birthday theme was owls and the owl on the cake was gorgeous! Mom and Dad took my advice from the last first birthday party I shot and got a pool full of colored balls. Once again, it was amazingly entertaining to the babies!  Sophia is baby Ava's cousin, who you have seen several times on my blog over the last 9 months.  They were born 3 months apart and it has been so fun watching them grow up at the same time.  The girls had a great time together at the party, especially in the pool of balls! Then it was on to an owl cupcake for Sophia :) She preferred the fondant eyeballs the best-haha! All in all it was a great day and I had so much fun photographing Sopia and her family. Olivia's 1st Birthday Party

I had so much fun shooting Olivia's 1st Birthday Party! If any moms out there need a good idea for an infant/toddler birthday party, I highly suggest an inflatable pool full of colorful balls! This was a built in baby sitter that kept the little ones, including the birthday girl, fully entertained.  They all loved it, even the older tots :) I think every mom and dad at the party wanted to rush out and get one for their playroom. Olivia had a great time at her party, enjoying all of her friends, the pool of balls and LOTS of cake! She had to get cut off before she overdosed! Grandma gave her a good bath in the sink, which she was a huge fan of as well.  All in all it went swimmingly! Mom did a fab job on all the decor and attention to detail.  Thanks for letting me share this special day with you guys.  Enjoy some of my faves from the festivities!
