Tonnesen Holiday Shoot

I traveled to the Tampa for a holiday session with my old friend, Laci Tonnesen (Barringon) and her husband and little boy, Noah. Noah is one, which can be a tricky age to photograph. Kids at this age can be shy around strangers and they're fairly unpredictable. You could say, they run the show. Mom had the brillant idea of letting me give Noah one of his favorite giraffe blankets when I arrived. He could hardly believe two of these wonderful treasures existed in the world. He became a fan of me in no time :) I had a ton of fun with their shoot, Noah was a blast and Mom and Dad got a workout they weren't expecting! Noah loves to be naked, so we did some adorable shots in the buff while he danced to the bullfrog song. He was a laugh a minute! Scudder Holiday Session

I did a holiday session with Kirk, Cara and Purdy Scudder in November, it was their 2nd holiday session with me. I LOVE repeat customers! Purdy might be one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever known, she is such a model! This year we shot at Petsmart, downtown Ocala and at Tuscawilla Park, a big day for a pretty little puppy dog and a momma-to-be (Cara, not Purdy!). Cara is positively luminous, must be that pregnant glow, although she's naturally gorgeous anyway :) We all had a great time with the shoot and got some great images, a few of my favorites below as well as their final holiday card.

Mel & Patrick's Engagement Party

My very good friend, Melissa Fox, is engaged to her sweetheart Patrick O'Connor. We did an engagement session before their engagement party on October 20th. I can't wait for their wedding in May, to be held in our hometown of Stuart, FL! Congratulations to a wonderful couple and one of my best friends in the world! I love you guys! Mackenzie's 1st Birthday!

I had the priveledge of shooting Mackenzie Knopf's 1st birthday party this past Saturday. Jen Knopf (Ford) grew up with David in Ocala and is now the proud momma of baby Mackenzie along with proud papa, Andrew Knopf. Mackenzie is such a gorgeous baby and I had the best time photographing her and her birthday party! Jen's stepmom, Dana, went all out with the party decor, down to custom monogrammed napkins for the birthday girl! It was a beautiful event. You will see that Mackenzie had a big day and by the time she was done with her cake, she could barely hold herself up!! I just had to share some favorite images from the shoot!

Rutledge-Hetzel Wedding Coming Up!

I'm shooting the Rutledge-Hetzel wedding on October 12, 2007 at Golden Ocala. I shot their engagement several months ago and had a great time so I'm really looking forward to the wedding day.
